I have previously shown you how to do a adjustable fastening for these macrame bracelets but today I will show you how to do an adjustable knot. These are great if you only have one cord and I especially like them for necklaces like this choker necklace…
Here is how to do it:
- Cross over the two ends of the cord
- Bring one of the cords over the other and tuck the end underneath
- Bring the end over both cords to form a loop and take it through the loop to form a knot
You can then just tighten the knot and flip the cord over and repeat on the other side. You can also add a dab of glue to the knot to stop it from coming undone.
You can add a charm to a length of cord using this method and you have a great bracelet for layering!
